A color photograph taken on April 21, 1994. On the left side of the photograph is the bare tree on a red two wheeler with silver handles near the hole that is being dug. To the right of the tree is the back side of Clement Klaphake a white man with white hair wearing khaki pants and hat, a long sleeve blue shirt with purple stripes going lengthwise, black belt, and brown shoes. His knees are bent and his body is bent forward, and his shovel is in the hole. He is digging. Across from him is a white man with brown hair and glasses wearing blue jeans, a dark jacket with two white stripes around the sleeve. His right hand is on the handle of the shovel and the left hand is on the side of the handle. His left knee is bent and left foot is on the top of the blade of the shovel and is digging with the blade of the shovel. On the right side of the photo are two white women facing in the direction of the two men digging. The women in front has short brown hair wearing glasses, a long sleeve dark blue and red flower print dress with black hose and shoes. She has a purse on her left should and is point with her right index finger at the two men digging. Next to her is Elizabeth Klaphake with greyish hair, wearing glasses, khaki pants, light green top with a khaki print jacket and khaki shoes. Her right arm is bent at the elbow holding her purse on her right shoulder with her right hand at the shoulder. The grass is green. In the background is a cream colored building with tree and shrubs and plants surrounded in mulch in front of the windows. In the far background is a large bare tree. |
