Schaefer, Ph.D., as the new Assistant Dean. Dr.Schaefer completed a PhD in Education Leadership (Higher Education Administration) from Iowa State University and also holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, theology and secondary education from Creighton University. Among her roles in higher education administration, Jane was the Executive Director of Continuing Education and Community Engagement at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, Dean of Community Education and Workforce Development at Columbus State Community College in Columbus, Ohio where she provided leadership and management for Business and Industry Training, Continuing Professional Education, the Transitional Workforce Department, the Ohio Small Business Development Center, and the Columbus State Conference Center. At Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Nebraska, Jane worked as an administrator in the Office of Community and Workforce Education where she coordinated partnerships among the Nebraska Department of Education, and Greater Omaha businesses, K-12 schools, universities, chambers of commerce and community organizations working together on behalf of student career preparedness. Jane has recently relocated to Omaha to be near family. She enjoys the companionship of a rescue dog named Shelby and also enjoys outdoor adventures (especially water- related!), sports, travel and faith. Bellevue Ranked Among Most Affordable Online Master's in Accounting Programs BU News Release: September 22, 2015 - Bellevue University has been ranked among the top 50 most affordable online master's in accounting programs by Master's in Accounting Degrees. The ranking was published on the organization's website in July. Bellevue University was ranked 13th. Using the National Center for Education Statistics' College Navigator Database, the 50 most affordable online schools were selected and ranked. Founded in 1966, Bellevue University is a private, non-profit, regionally accredited institution with a beautiful 46-acre main campus in Bellevue, Nebraska. Bellevue University serves nearly 10,000 students annually at a total of 15 campus locations in four states - and everywhere online.
